Yana Beylinson – Scaling Up: Mastering Large-Scale Floral Painting
It could be intimidating to start a large-scale painting. In this talk Yana Beylinson will speak about and demonstrate some techniques to help you work large.
Just like preparing for a longer journey requires more preparation than an overnight trip, larger paintings require more planning. We will talk about developing your reference image – your map for the journey, as well as methods to scale up your image and the importance of a poster study. Mental preparation is tremendously important. Mindset is truly everything when it comes to painting large. We will discuss how to develop a level of confidence and belief in your abilities that will carry you to your goal.
