Join artist Yana Beylinson for this one-hour presentation on learning to see large shapes and values, and disregard the detail in favor of the big picture. Yana will paint with modern pigments and big brushes creating abstract, often surprising results. This class will focus on bold impasto and mixing the right colors and values while developing confidence that will channel in all aspects of the artistic practice.

Yana Beylinson is a contemporary NJ / NYC painter who has exhibited in the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, Cape Cod Museum of Art, Principle Gallery, and many others. She had a solo show “Synesthesia” at Abend Gallery in Denver, CO in 2022. Beylinson’s work has won a number of awards and belongs to private collections internationally. Her paintings were included in the public collection of the Emergency Department of Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY. Beylinson has created large-scale installations in Hong Kong and China. Having studied at the New York Academy of Art and the School of Visual Arts, Beylinson expanded her knowledge through extensive travel and study of art history. www.yanabeylinsonartist.com
