Merci très intéressant!
“Toning a white panel is like a double shot of expresso.” Well said !
Very interesting to watch Scott’s process! Thanks Scott & Winslow Art Centre, much appreciated!
Well, I didn’t have casein or oil paints so I decided to see what I could do with what I had on hand, toned pastel paper and watercolor. I know that the process is reverse for reserving whites and going from lightest to darkest in watercolor, but I just added some white gouache at the end. It is a bit muddy, but I would like to try again now that I understand the thinking process and just going with it without the notan or reference.
