Hot time, summer in the city….this last of the Summer Shorts series will feature urban environments. We will spend 2 weeks looking at how to capture scenes in the cities and villages we might visit during travels. Discussions, demonstrations, and in-class practice assignments along with homework will help students to gain mastery and the confidence to tackle those tall buildings (and short mud huts). A variety of watercolor techniques and strategies will be highlighted. Tuesday critique sessions will allow students to share their work getting valuable peer/instructor feedback and encouragement.
You will have access to the recordings and message board for this class for three months after the end of the class.
