Fine artist Catherine Bobkoski will show you how to use your photo reference creatively to craft striking and imaginative designs. Learn how to adjust color and brightness to set the mood, add subtle blurring effects for depth and focus, layer multiple images for dynamic compositions, and collage elements to build visual interest.

The demonstration will focus on simple, approachable digital techniques using Procreate for iPad. Even if you’re not tech-savvy, you’ll find these tools easy to incorporate into your workflow, helping you bridge the gap between your creative ideas and their realization on the canvas. By the end, you’ll feel empowered to use photo references not just as aids but as springboards for expressive and innovative art.
