This demo/talk is part of our Technique Takeaway series.
Date: Friday, April 30, 2021
Time: 2:00-3:30 PM Pacific Time (5:00-6:30 PM Eastern Time)
Our Technique Takeaways are presented live via Zoom. Discover specific art techniques that you can ‘take away’ from some of your favorite artists and apply to your own work. Each one and a half hour presentation will showcase a different process that each of these artists incorporates in their daily art practice. Instruction will be through a combination of lecture and demonstration by the artists.
Christine Lafuente will discuss and demonstrate her process for arranging the still life for painting. Open your imagination and discover ways of expressing dimensional and abstract space. Christine will be working in oils but this technique takeaway is helpful for artists working in any medium.
