Join Patrick Lee for a 1-1/2-hour demonstration of his painting process which he describes as “making a mess and cleaning it up.” Moving slowly from abstraction to realism, Patrick will share how he uses this process as a way of loosening up, developing his ideas, and creating strong elements of abstraction and suggestion in his work.
Patrick Lee grew up in Western Pennsylvania and attended Edinboro University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Painting with an Art History minor. Lee works primarily in oils, charcoal, and watercolor (gouache). His chosen subject matter generally ranges from figurative works and landscapes to still-life and interiors.
Lee has participated in many group and solo exhibitions, including Plein Air painting events like Plein Air Easton and Wayne Plein Air and have been an adjunct professor of art at Allegheny Community College for the past several years. patrickleefineart.com
