Watch Patrick Lee’s approach to creating an interior painting from beginning to finished piece. You’ll see every step of the process, from the initial lay-in, to the application and manipulation of subsequent layers color. Patrick will share his palette of colors, his painting tools, and his thought process when working with edges and paint surface in developing the mood of the finished painting. Patrick Lee grew up in Western Pennsylvania and attended Edinboro University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Painting with an Art History minor. Lee works primarily in oils, charcoal, and watercolor (gouache). His chosen subject matter generally ranges from figurative works and landscapes to still-life and interiors.
Lee has participated in many group and solo exhibitions, including Plein Air painting events like Plein Air Easton and Wayne Plein Air and have been an adjunct professor of art at Allegheny Community College for the past several years. patrickleefineart.com
