This three-week class concentrates on approaching colour in portraits. Starting with using line, then moving into ways of choosing to add paint, to compliment, to build, to emote, to refine. The focus of the lessons will be on the painting stage of a portrait, through demonstrations and exercises each week, and with some optional homework tasks set that encourage working from life. We will work in any paint on a scale from A5 to A1.
