Darrell Anderson – Value Sketching with Markers

Loved this presentation. So informative! Thank you so much! I have 2 questions about painting on the card stock.
1- Do you need to shellac both sides of paper to prevent warping or curling?
2-If we like the results, can the practice paintings done on card stock be mounted or framed (are they archival enough?) or should they just remain as information to inform us in the process?
Thanks so much, Darrell. I use a fountain pen almost exclusively in my sketchbooks, but your system of working with grey markers really interests me. It allows for larger, quicker sketches.
Very valuable drawing instruction – and I appreciate the computer work that Darrell has put into his presentation. Thanks for another great experience, Martha!

Excellent presentation! Thank you Darrell.
I love that you use only 2 markers — I think it’s more effective and easier than if you use three markers and white for 4 values.
Establishing a ruler is genius! Thanks for such a great presentation, Darrell!
