Thank you for sharing your learning process. The last 5 paintings seemed to me to have more of a sense of freedom & light–less of a feeling of being constrained. The first of the series of bundles appealed to my sense of wonder–what is inside? does it matter?
Moving and interesting presentation! Zoë, I love your work and have also experienced a major loss. Your high-up and tethered shirts strongly connected with me as well as the hovering bundles and care packages. It was interesting to hear about the MFA process also. Loved this interview! Loved hearing about your No Words exhibition. I don’t feel it was dark but facing and honoring loss, which is a part of all things whether we speak of it or not. Wonderful and moving. Brava! Thank you!
