When Michael said he throws turp at it, was he talking about putting turp on a rag and wiping down his painting to start again.
I love Michael’s palette color and bold painting style. I am just a beginner, starting watercolor, now into Acrylic. I saw his painting on Instagram first. I wish to paint like him. Martha, thank you for your programs at Winslow and your interview with very comfortable, soothing and skillful approach to artists. This is my second Art Chat. Hope to join Michael’s class in April. One thing: I don’t have a teacher. When Michael said of ‘Rothko’ , I was so happy because I sometimes use his color combo on his pamphlet from MOMA. Thank you, Martha🤗
