Learn how to capture the grace and movement of birds in flight in this dynamic watercolour workshop. We’ll begin by learning how to create a line drawing based on reference images, focusing on what needs to be drawn as opposed to just drawing everything. Then move into creating expressive, loose paintings using wet-in-wet techniques. With at least two complete demonstrations, you’ll see the full process unfold—from sketch to finished piece—while picking up tips on composition, colour flow, and creating the illusion of motion. Perfect for artists who want to loosen up and bring their bird paintings to life.
