Tracy Everly is an award-winning painter. She has studied occasionally at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, but she is also largely self-taught, having put together her own educational path held together by dogged determination and love of art.
Her teaching objective is to create a positive educational experience, empowering students to take risks, ask questions and pursue their own individual artistic path. Her method involves sharing her own artistic process fully and openly, aiming to help students build tangible foundational skills and to offer guidance about materials, but she also focuses on mindset and thought process as important aspects of creating art. tracyeverly.com

Always enjoy watching Tracy paint and this color mixing exercise is no exception.
I love her work and appreciate her thoughtful, unpretentious and encouraging approach to teaching!
Great demo! Great colour mixing practice exercise and much like how I plan colours for a painting. I then keep the colour notes next to me while I’m working on a painting so I can refer back to it and compare and tweak colour mixes as I work. They are also useful for future paintings to refer back to how I made a colour previously.
