Tracy Everly – Mixing Spring Colors (Recording) – Free!

Join Tracy Everly as she demonstrates and explains mixing colors for spring flowers and plants on her palette to develop technical, mental and perceptual skills needed to translate our response to what we see in nature into 2-dimensional form. Everly will discuss high chroma versus neutralized color, temperature, value and more.

Tracy Everly is an award-winning painter. She has studied occasionally at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, but she is also largely self-taught, having put together her own educational path held together by dogged determination and love of art.

Her teaching objective is to create a positive educational experience, empowering students to take risks, ask questions and pursue their own individual artistic path. Her method involves sharing her own artistic process fully and openly, aiming to help students build tangible foundational skills and to offer guidance about materials, but she also focuses on mindset and thought process as important aspects of creating art.  tracyeverly.com
