This three hour intensive looks at how to combine form with line and negative space to create visual interest in abstract painting and collage. The session starts with a slideshow of contemporary work by artists using this compositional strategy in their work. We’ll work with black and white collage studies and paint to practice combining these powerful elements in our own art
