Medium: Oil, watercolor, goauche, acrylic (Zoë will work in natural earth paint acrylic)
This three-part workshop focuses on the relationships of value, color, scale, and space in the painting process. Through studying these basic elements of art in relationship to each other one can start to see ways to strengthen the compositionnas a whole. Painters are welcome to use any medium they are comfortable with; oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache.
Each class starts with a slideshow of contemporary artists’ work followed by instructor demos with time for discussion, questions, or comments.
