Join abstract painter Zoë Cohen for a live Demo as she works on several paintings from start to finish (or nearly complete). As she paints she’ll relay her process from the initial marks and color laying the foundation, to recognizing when a painting starts to take shape, through the final stages – knowing how and when to call it good. As a painting starts to take form the artist moves from quick and easy paint application to slower more considered actions. The class will begin with a slideshow of her own paintings for context.
