Learn experimental and fun techniques and how to make inspiring art from dip pens, fountain pens and twigs with mixed media combinations that redefine borders between drawing and painting. This course is about exploring the range of possibilities that alternative graphic materials provide. We will experiment with ink in ways that can lead to unexpected sparks of inspiration. Discover how to use ink, markers and acrylic paint on paper to create texture, striking natural effects and calligraphic lines taking inspiration from a wide range of artists.
Tim shows you techniques to help you approach drawing from a different angle and create expressive drawings and paintings with unconventional materials.
Drawing subjects will focus on drawing people, everyday objects, still life and photo imagery that will be provided.
