Think of your mark like your voice—something you already have, but the more you explore it, the more you discover its full potential.
In this class, we’ll focus on two key ways to understand abstract marks: how to capture them from reality and how to evolve them through exploration. Abstraction helps us connect with reality in a new way, encouraging us to see shapes, lines, and forms with fresh eyes.
I’ll guide you through these techniques using paint, photography, and collage, helping you expand your creative possibilities and deepen your understanding of mark-making.
