Landscape painters start with the landscape. The abstraction comes from putting our landscape-based source material through the creative process. This 3-week session of Abstracting the Landscape mirrors my own artistic process – from information gathering, to compositional refinement, to color studies, which all inform my more abstracted studio works. Open to all oil and acrylic painters.
