Capturing the effects of light and atmosphere has fascinated painters for centuries. This class will emphasis light and atmosphere as the main drivers in abstracting the landscape. We will focus on pulling imagery from the landscape to emphasize the formal aspects of painting – shape, color, and edge. Open to all oil and acrylic painters who are willing to let go, experiment and take chances!
