Join award-winning artist Sarah B. Hansen as she guides you in painting lyrical, splashy watercolor landscape paintings, full of life and expression. Learn techniques to simplify and loosely apply watercolors through a series of different subjects and topics. In this course, Sarah will guide you in honing your landscapes through lessons in shape merging, negative painting, edges and brushwork, color exploration, and mark-making. Each week, you will find a new way to express each subject. Draw and paint from provided photos plus your own references.
Online posting of homework will allow Sarah to individually help each student. Demos will be done in watercolor. Some experience in painting and drawing is helpful.
