Discover how to harness the expressive power of acrylic paint to capture not just the shape of a landscape, but its underlying energy and emotional resonance.

What You’ll Explore:

• Dynamic brushwork & intuitive marks: Employ bold, gestural strokes to evoke movement and atmosphere.

• Vibrant color palettes: Learn to select and blend colors that convey mood, depth, and tone.

• Structure meets spontaneity: Combine compositional form with expressive freedom for evocative landscapes.

• Translating spirit into image: See the landscape as a reflection of your inner world—alive, abstracted, and full of vitality.

This course is perfect for painters with some experience—not necessarily experts—who want to deepen their ability to translate mood, movement, and atmosphere into compelling art.

Paint a new landscape each week, using techniques learned. Online posting of homework will allow Sarah to individually help each student. Demos will be done in acrylic.
