Join award-winning artist Sarah B. Hansen as she guides you in painting lyrical, simplified watercolor landscapes through the designing and grouping of shapes and values. Discover ways to determine what to leave in and what to leave out of landscapes and move away from painting many details. Capture the essence of the landscape with demos of two separate landscape scenes. Each scene will be demonstrated in both a simplified value version and a full-color version. Online posting of homework will allow Sarah to individually help each student. Demos will be done in watercolor. Some experience in painting and drawing is helpful.
