A member of the New English Art Club and the Royal Society of British Artists, painter Robert E. Wells’s work is clearly identifiable thanks to his freedom of brush strokes, use of tone and color, and his individual approach to composition – always seeking out unusual views, encouraging us all to look at life from a different angle.In this innovative 4-week class, discover Wells’s painting process, from sketchbook to studio. Through demos and lectures, Robert Wells will share the journey of a painting, from conception and development to finish, as he shares techniques for using the sketchbook as a tool to inform his paintings. Students will work from their own subject matter. All levels are welcome.

Robert E. Wells is a Yorkshire-born artist, known for his cityscape paintings as well as rural landscapes and figurative works.
