In this course we will be exploring the work of the 20th Century Scottish painter, Joan Eardley and learning from her approach to Landscape Painting.
The course will not teach you how to paint like Joan Eardley, but instead draw influence from her work.
With lots of demos and painting time, this course will be an exploration into creating a sense of place in the landscape, through mark making and atmosphere building. From considered compositions to spontaneous mark making and texture building, discover how to loosen up and embrace an element of abstraction in landscape painting,
