Paul is known for his well received book (Experimental Nature in Acrylics). Since its publication Paul has refined and expanded his range of techniques which he uses to convey natural forms and texture. In this two week workshop Paul will demonstrate his range of dynamic acrylic mark-making techniques in addition to his strategies for shaping objects. Demonstrations will include: layering; use of textures; fluid techniques; scratching through paint; masking; collage; and more. Paul will discuss and demonstrate his use of acrylic ink, pens and spray too.

Also, there will be the opportunity for the student to request specific technique demonstrations and Paul will advise and critique the student’s work during the video session and via the forum too.
