Patrick Lee will share techniques for mixing accurate colors, based on Arthur Stern’s book, How to See Color and Paint It, and share the surprising results he achieves when creating color studies based on Stern’s methods.
Patrick Lee grew up in Western Pennsylvania and attended Edinboro University, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Painting with an Art History minor. Lee works primarily in oils, charcoal, and watercolor (gouache). His chosen subject matter generally ranges from figurative works and landscapes to still-life and interiors.
Lee has participated in many group and solo exhibitions, including Plein Air painting events like Plein Air Easton and Wayne Plein Air and have been an adjunct professor of art at Allegheny Community College for the past several years. patrickleefineart.com
