Each student will set up his own junk-pile using different still life objects. The junk-pile should be quite random, letting the objects mix with each other and create interesting junctions and shapes. Using our viewfinder we will observe the junk pile and find interesting and surprising motifs. We will draw and paint them, focusing on the abstract qualities of the compositions.
