In this three-week class, impressionist pastel painter Orit Reuben will guide students in capturing luminosity in pastels, painting the floral still life from life. Known for her vibrant color and ability to convey glow and light, Orit will share her approach to creating expressive, light-filled paintings with a focus on value and color temperature and show how these elements work together to create a sense of light. Students will learn to simplify and organize their compositions, focusing on what matters most.
