In this class Matteo Caloiaro will be demonstrating the use of the palette knife in the landscape to simplify shapes and lay in big areas of color before refining smaller areas with a brush. This will create the foundation for boldness and expressive mark making in the landscape. The palette knife can be the best tool to help you see the big picture and loosen up your approach! Matteo will be demonstrating using oil, but acrylic can also be used with this approach.
