Barns combine the dramatic simplicity of iconic shapes with the details of weathered siding and corrugated roofs. Class demonstrations will show how the tactile quality of hard and soft pastels create a variety of textures and patterns. Compositions will focus on barn “portraits” as well as barns as landscape elements.
