Explore a variety of mixed media techniques on this 28 days of Posctards adventure with artist Lucie Duclos. For the first 4 sessions, you will get a series of 7 prompts for each day of the week, with a demonstration of different mixed media techniques. On the 5th session, we will look at your collection of 28 posctards and you will learn how to create your own envelopes, liners and labels to dress up your postcards on their jouney through the mail. We will work on recycled cardboard as substrate, and experiment with paint, collage, stitching, punching, stamping, printmaking, rolling, masking, line drawing, mark making and found objects. At the end of this class, you will have a little collection of 28 postcards that you can frame or send to a loved one.

This class is based on Lucie’s 40 Days or Postcard quarantine project on instagram. This will be a shorter version but you can certainly keep going after 28 days! It is addictive!

This class is for all levels.
