Liz Prescott – The Power of Value in Dynamic Paintings (Online); Thursdays, January 30-February 13, 2025

The world is not just black and white! This class delves into the underlying value structure in any scene and how it can be used to create strong, dynamic compositions.  We will build on the perceptual skills you already have and take them even farther as you hone your eye to the subtleties of dark-light relationships through class exercises, demos and discussions. You will come away with a better eye for the value in your color mixtures and how to make them work for you!  Open to any subject you choose to explore.  Ample instructor feedback on our message board as well as positive support from peers.  Liz will demo in acrylics.
