This class will open new doors and get you excited to start each new painting.
Each week we will explore techniques to help introduce more surprising color into your paintings. We will start with your current color knowledge and build from there, as you explore new tube colors and new dynamic color relationships. It doesn’t have to be difficult, but it does take stepping outside the box! Each class will include examples of historic and contemporary painters with discussions of their color usage and techniques. Liz will then demo a technique that you can practice each week in the workshop and then carry into your studio going forward. Composition discussions will weave throughout the class as always.
