For many artists, flowers are appealing as subject matter for painting. We have all seen them lusciously depicted in great masterpieces and are tempted by their delicacy and variation of color. However, they are actually quite complex structures and can prove frustrating to work from. This 4-week class with New English Art Club member Laura Smith is  designed to give you clear guidelines for how to approach painting florals and capturing their delicacy and color. Working from direct observation,  you will explore topics such as  tone, saturation, color mixing and paint application techniques to be able to tackle this subject with confidence and pleasure.
