Join Laura Smith for an illuminating online painting demonstration. Laura will make a painting of a simple still life with an unusual limited palette. Using a very limited palette requires the artist to make cunning equivalents to color relationships as color matches are often impossible. One advantage is that you are more able to create not only harmony across the picture but a very particular light and atmosphere. Laura’s painting style centres around precise color mixing. Much time will be spent on slow, careful mixing with a palette knife.
