In this 3-session workshop, Kimberly Trowbridge will guide participants through the rigorous and delightful process of creating a chromatic collage and oil painting in response to a historical painting. Trowbridge is passionate about revealing the formal elements of picture-making through color and shape relationships.
Trowbridge will be working from Fragonard’s 18th-century painting, Blind Man’s Bluff. Participants can select their own historical painting to work from or chose from a list of selected images.
