Creating a painting that is loose and painterly is a fun and exciting way to paint for both realistic and abstract painters. In this class Kathleen will generously teach you various techniques and lessons to help you loosen you up and be more expressive, as she demonstrates and walks you through several exercises breaking them into simple, follow-along steps. You will have fun experimenting with different objects, and various brushes and brushstrokes to help you in this creative process. Along with these effective and useful exercises she will also implement fundamental lessons needed to make a strong painting. As Kathleen demos each week, you will see how to develop a loose and abstracted painting to help you get started with lots of creative ideas to apply to your realistic and/or abstract paintings.
