Creating a painting that is loose and painterly, yet accurate, is a fun and exciting way to paint. Kathleen will walk you through various painting exercises that will help you loosen up, as you experiment with different brushes, brushstrokes and unusual items and objects to help you in this creative process. Along with these fun exercises she will also teach you how to apply fundamental lessons needed to make a strong painting.
This class will be taught mainly in oils, but some demos may be done in acrylic and gouache.
All levels may attend however, a working knowledge of your paint is helpful, but not necessary.
