This two-session class celebrates the amazing world of mushrooms in all their forms and colors. In the first session, we’ll explore and paint the anatomy of a mushroom from spore print to veil to cap and stem. In the second session, we’ll create a piece with multiple mushrooms with an emphasis on composition, forms, and conveying the diversity and beauty of fungi. Optional homework and posting of class work will allow Jean to offer individualized feedback.
