Learn to paint portraits full of color and energy in this 4-week workshop.

Using photos of your own or those that Ingrid provides, you’ll discover the keys to accurate proportion and fuss-free features.  We’ll tackle different lighting conditions and color palettes with the aim of developing a logical system that you can apply to any portrait in the future.

If painting a face has been a daunting prospect for you in the past, this workshop will demystify  it and give you the tools to explore this wonderful and rewarding genre with confidence.

Ingrid Christensen is an award winning painter and instructor who specializes in figurative and still life oil painting. Influenced by French and Russian Impressionism, her work is an exploration of light, color and dynamic mark making.

A self-proclaimed “paint nerd”, Ingrid has written and featured in Winsor & Newton Masterclass videos, contributed articles to Artsy Magazine, and taught sold-out workshops in Canada and Mexico.
