Our Technique Takeaways are presented live via Zoom. Discover specific art techniques that you can ‘take away’  from some of your favorite artists and apply to your own work. Each one and a half hour presentation will showcase a different process that each of these artists incorporates in their daily art practice.  Instruction will be through a combination of lecture and demonstration by the artists.

Description:

Stop worrying about pigments and start focusing on colour. In this technique takeaway we will work through the foundation of building a basic colour palette and then explore ways to tune the palette to your artistic voice. We will also discuss mixing, compliment pairings, harmonies and mixing greys. Stop using other artists palettes and start learning how to create your own, calibrated to you.
