Learn the anatomical structure of the head! You will learn anatomical landmarks of the skull and what to look for when drawing a head. Lectures and demos will be on proportions of the head, basic design for head shape construction, the head in perspective and tilts and orientations of the head in space.
Diana Belenky is an award-winning artist whose primary tool for expression is the emotion of light, color, and texture. Belenky has won many competitions and awards, including the 2020 Martha’s Vineyard Prize, the 32nd National Drawing Competitive Exhibition at Gormley Gallery and the Posey Grant in Painting. Her work has been included in the de Young Museum and the International Museum of Contemporary Masters of Fine Art. She has exhibited at the International Figurative Art exhibition at the Richeson Gallery and is represented by 33 Contemporary Gallery. Belenky has been published in Art Market Magazine and Art Ascent Magazine. She has an MFA from the New York Academy of Art and is a Professor at the Academy of Art University of San Francisco. www.dianabelenky.com
