In this five week course Debora Stewart will share her technique for creating expressive abstract florals and gardens. Each week will have a different focus from beginning to end. You will begin by creating source material from drawings and learn to loosen up and work expressively. In following weeks you will focus on different aspects of abstract florals such as bouquets and gardens. You will also learn how abstract underpaintings help to abstract the subject. Join Debora and learn to develop your own abstract floral pastel paintings and have fun doing it. Learn to see flowers in a different way!
Debora Stewart is a Signature Member and a Master Pastellist of the Pastel Society of America and a member of the Master’s Circle of the International Association of Pastel Societies. She is also the author of a Northlight book titled Abstract Art Painting: Expressions in Mixed Media and a series of videos on abstract painting from Northlight TV.
