Join David Mensing online for this insightful 4-week crash course in fine painting and fun with the palette knife. While painting with the palette knife can be challenging, there is no better way to create deep, expressive compositions. A fine palette knife painting is like a two-dimensional sculpture, both rich and tactile.
Mensing will share how key principles of painting can accelerate growth as an artist and have a profound impact on one’s overall quality of work. Regardless of skill level, an artist who develops a deeper appreciation and understanding of intensities, composition, movement, texture and light temperature is poised to make significant improvement in his or her work.
Throughout this online course, Dave will offer live group instruction and demonstrations, with assigned exercises being completed between classes by the participants. At the conclusion of the four-week course, class participants will have new tools and a new outlook to take their paintings to the next level.
