This oil painting workshop relates the elements of perceptual painting to an understanding of light source. We will work from observation using a still life or interior set-up, focusing on drawing, tone, temperature, and key within the contexts of back-lit, side-lit, and front-lit compositions. Be prepared to rearrange studio furniture and move around in your personal painting space.
