Fine artist and illustrator ChrisWitkowski will share the process of how she created the 2021 Wooden Boat Festival poster in this online presentation offered through the Winslow Art Center on Bainbridge Island. She will describe how she and the Wooden Boat Festival team came up with the concept for the poster. With photos she took using a live model, she will demonstrate how these were combined with historical photos and other reference materials to construct the vibrant pastel painting used in the poster.
