You’ll learn to capture a variety of flowers with confidence, using a painterly approach grounded in solid drawing fundamentals. Through guided exercises, you’ll refine your ability to simplify complex forms, create a clear value structure, and build layers of color and texture.

Led by fine artist and teacher Catherine Bobkoski, this class will also introduce key concepts in composition, helping you arrange dynamic floral paintings that feel balanced and compelling. You’ll experiment with gestural brushwork, color harmony, and edge control to bring each bloom to life. Reference images will be provided, but students are encouraged to work from direct observation to strengthen their understanding of form and space.
